Job summary

Premera Blue Cross is seeking an AI Engineer IV to lead AI/ML initiatives from concept through production, guiding solutioning and prototyping for complex business problems. You will mentor engineers and stay current with AI research while shaping governance and scalable infrastructure.

The role is remote/telecommuter from home with responsibilities across AI system design, data pipelines, and API development to deploy models and ensure reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field or 2+ years in IT/analytics.
• Minimum 5 years in developing, deploying, maintaining AI/ML systems.
• 6+ years developing deep learning models with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI/ML solution ideation and prototyping from conception to production.
• Guide teams on AI governance, data quality, and best practices.
• Design scalable data pipelines and low-latency APIs for AI models.
