Job summary

Jack Henry's AI Platform team is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to turn promising proofs of concept into production‑ready systems. You will work with internal users and collaborate with cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure experts to build scalable, observable AI workflows that meet real regulatory constraints.

You’ll lead testing, monitoring, and documentation, mentor junior engineers, and help shape our production standards for AI, ensuring reliable, secure software delivered on a hybrid

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of technical software development experience.
• Production ownership of AI systems (AI agents, AI features in products, MCP servers).
• Experience with a major cloud environment (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Experience with unit testing and end-to-end automated testing.
• Experience with Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Take AI proofs of concept through production-ready software with research where patterns don’t exist yet.
• Lead technical/engineering support for new and existing applications from delivery to retirement.
• Develop, test and review applications based on requirements and best practices with agentic development workflows.
• Collaborate with security, cloud infra, and AI governance partners to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Lead unit, integration tests and evals to ensure reliability, security, and performance of AI systems.
