Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior AI Engineer in Missouri to transform AI proofs of concept into reliable, scalable production software. You will work with cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and AI governance teams while mentoring engineers and building agentic workflows.

You will ensure production-ready AI systems, contribute to architecture, and drive tests, monitoring, and observability to meet regulatory and reliability standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software development.
• Production ownership of AI systems (AI agents, AI features in products).
• Experience with a major cloud environment (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Experience with unit testing and end-to-end automated testing.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% for internal meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead system analysis and programming to production-ready AI software.
• Provide technical/engineering support from code delivery to retirement of applications.
• Develop, test and review applications based on requirements and best practices; use agentic development workflows.
• Review code from less experienced teammates and collaborate with security/infra teams.
• Lead tests and evals to ensure reliability, security, and performance of AI systems.
