Job summary

Jack Henry is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to turn AI prototypes into production-ready software. You will own AI workflows, ensure observability and security, and collaborate with cybersecurity and cloud teams to deliver scalable, auditable AI solutions.

The role requires 6+ years in software development, cloud experience (GCP/AWS/Azure), and hands-on work with Kubernetes. Some travel (up to 5%) is expected as part of internal meetings and conferences at Jack Henry.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 6 years of technical experience in software development.
• Production ownership of AI systems (AI agents, AI features in products, MCP servers, etc).
• Experience with a major cloud environment (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Experience with unit testing and end-to-end automated testing.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Must be able to travel up to 5% to attend internal business meetings, training and/or professional conferences.

Responsibilities

• Performs and leads system analysis and programming activities that take AI proofs of concept to production-ready software.
• Provides technical/engineering support for new and existing applications from code delivery until retirement.
• Develops, tests and reviews applications based on business requirements and industry best practices.
• Collaborates with quality and security partners to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Leads cross-functional meetings and project work when required.
• Creates required technical documentation and participates in defining production-ready standards for AI systems.
