Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of software development experience.
• Production ownership of AI systems.
• Experience with a major cloud environment (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Experience with unit testing and end-to-end automated testing.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Willing to travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Lead production-ready AI software from POCs to production-ready systems.
• Provide technical/engineering support for new and existing applications from delivery to retirement.
• Develop, test and review applications based on business requirements and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and AI governance teams to ensure quality and security.
• Lead cross-team projects and mentor engineers.
• Create required technical documentation and stay updated with AI trends.
• Define standards for what is considered production-ready AI at Jack Henry.
• Lead unit tests, integration tests, and evals for reliability and security.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues, addressing AI-specific failure modes.
