Job summary

TRSS is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to own and deliver complex AI agent systems end-to-end, leveraging modern LLM APIs and agent frameworks. You will work with a senior-heavy team on autonomous, AI-native engineering practices to build scalable, reliable platforms that empower legal professionals.

You will mentor peers, collaborate with product teams, and help shape the architecture while delivering production-ready systems that operate at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience building AI/LLM-powered products or agentic systems, not just classic ML/data science.
• Hands-on with modern LLM APIs and agent frameworks/SDKs.
• Experience owning complex technical projects end-to-end from design to production.
• Strong backend fundamentals including distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with production reliability, observability, monitoring, and regression detection.
• Ability to mentor other engineers and contribute to a strong technical culture.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver complex AI agent systems end-to-end, with multi-component pipelines and tool integrations.
• Build production AI agent systems on top of LLM APIs and orchestration infrastructure, integrating with platform services.
• Contribute to observability and evaluation practices to catch regressions before customers see them.
• Adopt progressive delivery practices, including feature flags and early quality signals.
• Participate in RFCs/ADRs and design reviews to ensure cohesive system architecture.
• Mentor engineers and promote AI-native, agentic development practices.
• Collaborate with product and engineers to translate requirements into solid technical designs.
