Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead a cross-functional, product-centric team evolving AI-native development for Bond & Specialty Insurance. You will own the technical vision, collaborate with product owners and designers, and guide production AI agents and tooling.

You will ship end-to-end AI systems, implement telemetry, and drive architectural decisions across agent frameworks and orchestration tooling. Strong leadership and communication are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, related STEM field, or equivalent experience.
• 6 additional years of software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision for your team’s products and shape product vision with the product owner and designer.
• Design, build, and ship production AI agents that automate end-user workflows.
• Implement telemetry for product decision-making and reporting.
• Work with modern agent frameworks, LLM APIs, and orchestration tooling to deliver production AI systems.
• Mentor team members and contribute to a collaborative environment.
