Thomson Reuters Corp. is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to own end-to-end AI agent systems, from design to production, partnering with a senior team.

You will build AI-native agent platforms atop LLM APIs and agent SDKs, focusing on reliability, observability, and safe release practices while mentoring others. This role offers a hybrid work model in the Minnesota area and opportunities to shape the next generation of legal AI tools.

Competenze

• Experience architecting and shipping production software systems for AI/LLM-powered products.
• Hands-on building with modern LLM APIs, agent frameworks/SDKs, or tool integration protocols.
• Experience owning complex projects end-to-end, from design to production.
• Strong backend fundamentals, distributed systems design and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with production reliability, observability, monitoring and incident response.
• Ability to mentor engineers and promote a strong technical culture.
• Comfort working autonomously on a fast-moving, senior-heavy team using AI-native practices.

Mansioni

• Architect and deliver complex AI agent systems end-to-end with multi-component pipelines.
• Build production AI agent systems atop LLM APIs, agent SDKs, and orchestration infra.
• Contribute to observability and evaluation practices to catch regressions early.
• Adopt progressive delivery practices with feature flags and early quality signals.
• Participate in RFCs/ADRs and design reviews, aligning systems coherently.
