Job summary

Credence is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable generative AI and LLM-powered solutions for federal clients. You will lead agent orchestration, evaluation, and production deployment while mentoring engineers.

You will collaborate across engineering, data, cloud, and mission teams, review code, guide best practices, and monitor deployed systems to ensure performance and security. US citizenship and DoD clearance eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, AI/ML, or a related field.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience and significant AI/ML/LLM delivery.
• Experience with agentic AI, TypeScript and Python.
• Leading AI platforms, CI/CD, and strong communication.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable AI solutions for federal clients, including agent orchestration, evaluation, and production deployment.
• Collaborate across engineering, data, cloud, and mission teams; guide technical practices, review code, mentor engineers, and monitor and optimize deployed systems.
