Job summary

Credence Management Solutions, LLC in Boston is seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions for federal clients, including generative AI, LLM-powered applications, and agentic AI systems.

You will lead technical direction, mentor engineers, and collaborate with data, cloud, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure AI capabilities, while advancing engineering practices, IaC/CI-CD, and mission impact.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/AI/ML.
7+ years of hands-on software engineering with AI/ML in production.
Experience building generative AI apps and working with LLMs.
Experience designing agentic AI solutions and using frameworks like LangChain.
Strong knowledge of AI APIs and model platforms (OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, Bedrock).
Proficiency in TypeScript and familiarity with Nx, Next.js, Playwright, Jest, Vite.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, prototyping, and deployment of AI-powered capabilities.
Own end-to-end agentic AI development lifecycles, including tool calling and orchestration.
Apply software engineering best practices, code reviews, and scalable patterns.
Collaborate with data engineers, cloud engineers, and mission stakeholders.
Design deployment workflows with IaC, CI/CD, containers, and cloud services.
Monitor performance and tune AI systems post-deployment.
Mentor engineers and contribute to reusable standards and documentation.
