Credence Management Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer to advance our AI and Automation practice for federal clients. You will design, develop, and deploy generative AI, LLM-powered applications, and agentic AI systems, mentoring engineers and guiding technical direction across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, AI/ML, or a related field.
• 7+ years hands-on software engineering experience delivering AI/ML/LLM solutions.
• Experience building generative AI applications with LLMs and retrieval/prompt engineering.
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks and tool/function calling.
• Strong knowledge of AI APIs and platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Bedrock, Vertex).
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Python; familiarity with Nx, Next.js, Playwright, Jest.
• CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI) and VS Code AI extensions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; U.S. citizenship with DoD clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, prototyping, and deployment of AI-powered capabilities (generative AI, LLMs).
• Own end-to-end agentic AI development lifecycles (model selection, tool calling, orchestration).
• Lead software engineering practices, code reviews, and technical pattern creation.
• Collaborate with data, cloud, and mission stakeholders to translate needs into AI solutions.
• Automate deployment workflows using IaC, CI/CD, containers, and cloud services.
