Job summary

You will design and deploy AI software components, optimize model performance, and contribute to the vision and governance of AI platforms across Capital One.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of AI/ML development experience or Master’s with 4+ years.
• 6+ years of experience programming in Python, Go, Scala, CUDA, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including model training, inference, guardrails, and observability.
• Leverage Open Source and SaaS AI tech such as AWS, HuggingFace, VectorDBs, PyTorch.
• Invent optimization techniques to improve performance, latency, and cost of AI systems.
• Contribute to long-term AI system roadmap and governance.
