Capital One is seeking an AI Engineer 5 to shape and deploy responsible AI systems for scalable, real-time banking experiences. You will work with engineers, researchers, PMs, and product teams to build AI-powered products and governance models that impact millions of customers.

You will design and optimize AI software components, utilize a broad stack (AWS, HuggingFace, PyTorch, VectorDBs), and contribute to the foundation model optimization and multi-model orchestration efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/AI/EE/CE or related field plus 6+ years in AI/ML development.
• At least 6 years of experience programming with Python, Go, Scala, CUDA, or Java.

Responsabilités

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components (LMs, agents, vector search).
• Leverage Open Source and SaaS AI tech (AWS, HuggingFace, PyTorch).
• Contribute to the long-term AI systems roadmap and governance.
