Job summary

BetterHelp is seeking a Staff AI Enablement Engineer to accelerate our engineering efficiency with AI. You will own the internal stack, from AI agents to MCP connectors, and work closely with engineering, product, and design teams.

This senior IC role on the Platform team reports to the engineering manager and grants latitude and accountability to ship useful tooling while driving adoption across the company. Remote-friendly with PST hours and occasional on-site gatherings.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in fast-moving technology organizations, including hands-on software engineering.
• Deep fluency with AI stack components like agents, MCP, prompts, retrieval, automation.
• Infrastructure as code, a major cloud provider, and secrets management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Build AI enablement stack and automation for engineering, product, and design teams.
• Own experiments end-to-end, manage Terraform-powered environments and deployments.
• Drive adoption and measure impact of AI enablement across the organization.
• Ship experiments first and iterate based on results.
