Job summary

BRG is expanding its Financial Institution Operations & Technology practice and seeks an experienced Managing/Senior Managing Consultant to lead hands‑on engineering workstreams. You will turn AI capabilities into practical tools for financial services teams, guiding engineers and collaborating with domain experts, data scientists, and risk specialists.

Travel to client sites is required. You will design and deliver secure, reusable applications, implement automated tests and deployment

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience at Managing Consultant level or 6+ years at Sr. Managing Consultant level.
• Senior, hands‑on delivery of full‑stack applications into production.
• Strong TypeScript skills with React or similar frontend frameworks; emphasis on state management and accessible UI.
• Experience building Python or Node.js APIs and backend services; include persistence, validation, error handling, and external integrations.
• Experience with authentication, authorization, audit logging, and secure data handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead full‑stack engineering workstreams from discovery to production handover, coordinating design, dependencies, and delivery risks.
• Build responsive interfaces in TypeScript with React or comparable frameworks to simplify complex operational tasks.
• Develop Python or Node.js APIs that connect user workflows to AI capabilities and client systems.
• Implement human‑review workflows with evidence displays, editable outputs, approvals, queues, and escalation paths.
• Build authentication, RBAC, secure sessions, and audit trails; enforce permissions at service, data, and UI layers.
• Integrate enterprise platforms and AI services using APIs, event patterns, streaming, and asynchronous processing.
