Job summary

BRG is seeking a Managing/Senior Managing Consultant to lead hands-on engineering workstreams turning AI capabilities into practical tools for financial services teams. You will guide engineers, collaborate with data and AI specialists, and deliver reusable applications and implementation roadmaps that fit real operating workflows.

You will build secure, accessible applications with secure authentication, RBAC, and audit trails, while aligning with client security and risk teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering full-stack applications into production.
• Strong TypeScript skills with React or similar frontend frameworks.
• Experience building Python or Node.js APIs and backend services.
• Implemented authentication, authorization, auditing, and secure sessions.
• Designed integrations using REST/API, streaming, queues, and async processing.
• Familiar with automated testing, version control, CI/CD, cloud deployment, monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-stack engineering workstreams from discovery to production handover.
• Build responsive TypeScript interfaces for complex operations.
• Develop APIs and back-end services connecting workflows to AI and data apps.
• Implement human-review workflows with clear accountability and escalation.
• Enforce security: authentication, RBAC, audit logging across services and UI.
• Integrate enterprise platforms and AI services via APIs and event-driven patterns.
• Collaborate with client teams, domain experts, and risk personnel to frame solutions.
• Establish tests, deployment pipelines, monitoring, and support for production apps.
• Mentor engineers and provide credible delivery estimates and scope.
