Job summary

BRG is launching a new Financial Institution Operations & Technology practice and seeks Managing or Senior Managing Consultants to lead AI architecture and hands-on delivery. You will translate financial services problems into production-ready AI solutions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with client teams to deliver reusable, scalable outcomes.

Strong Python engineering, experience with AI workflows, and the ability to travel to client sites are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience for Managing Consultant level.
• Minimum of 7 years for Senior Managing Consultant level.
• Strong Python engineering skills with deliverable, maintainable services.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI architecture and engineering workstreams translating client problems into designs and plans.
• Implement production AI services in Python with models, retrieval, rules, tools, and APIs.
• Design and build RAG and agentic workflows with source-grounded responses and clear escalation paths.
• Collaborate with vendor partners, domain experts, and client teams to frame solutions and evaluate capabilities.
• Define evaluation datasets and acceptance criteria with client experts and test retrieval quality, latency, and cost.
• Mentor engineers, lead technical reviews, and validate adoption and measurable operating benefits.
