Job summary

BRG is building a new Financial Institution Operations & Technology practice. We seek Managing or Senior Managing Consultants to translate financial services problems into production‑ready AI solutions. You will lead AI architecture, guide engineers, and work with client teams to deliver measurable improvements.

You will implement AI services in Python, design RAG workflows, and collaborate with vendor partners to frame and validate solutions. Travel to client sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of AI delivery experience at Managing Consultant level; 7+ years for Senior Managing Consultant.
• Hands-on delivery from architecture to production implementation of AI applications.
• Strong Python engineering skills and maintainable services, model integrations, tool interfaces, and APIs.
• Experience with RAG and agentic workflows and trade-offs in retrieval, orchestration, and human oversight.
• Experience deploying AI services using cloud infra, containers, CI/CD, versioning, monitoring, and rollback.
• Ability to lead complex technical workstreams, mentor engineers, and communicate architectural trade-offs to client teams.
• Willingness and ability to travel to client sites as needed.
• Experience with vendor Co-lab collaborations and evaluating model capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI architecture and engineering workstreams, translating client problems into solution designs and explicit automation boundaries.
• Implement production AI services in Python, integrating models, retrieval, business rules, tools, and APIs with client data.
• Design and build RAG and agentic workflows with source-grounded responses and safe operation boundaries.
• Collaborate with the AI Co-lab, vendor partners, and domain experts to frame solutions and compare capabilities.
• Define evaluation datasets and acceptance criteria with client experts to test retrieval quality and task accuracy.
• Implement MLOps practices for prompt/versioning, regression testing, deployment, observability, and rollback.
• Design safeguards for prompt injection and data access in partnership with security and risk teams.
• Mentor engineers and lead technical reviews while coordinating with risk and domain colleagues.
• Capture expert decision patterns for reusable workflows and future pursuits.
