PagerDuty, Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (SRE Agent) to work inside our largest customer accounts, connecting the SRE Agent to production environments and guiding teams from AI-assisted incident response to supervised actions with guardrails.

The Staff Engineer will contribute code back to the core SRE Agent product, build reusable tools and connectors, and drive adoption across strategic accounts. Travel 25–50% is expected.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of experience building and shipping production software across team boundaries.
• Hands-on experience with LLM and agent systems in production, including agent development and guardrail design.
• Customer-facing skills and ability to present to leadership.
• Experience with Terraform or Pulumi at scale, GitOps, CI/CD design, and progressive delivery patterns.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% during active engagements.

Responsabilidades

• Embed and drive SRE Agent adoption for 2–4 strategic customer teams across their incident lifecycle.
• Build and contribute reusable agent tools, connectors, and skills across product repos.
• Run pilots to gather eval data, identify blockers, and ship fixes.
• Integrate SRE Agent with IaC, GitOps, CI/CD, and observability platforms; guide customers to autonomous operations.
• Define 3–6 month technical roadmaps and communicate feedback to product and engineering teams.
