PagerDuty is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer (SRE Agent) to work with top customers, linking the SRE Agent to production stacks and guiding teams from AI-assisted responses to autonomous actions. You will contribute code back to the core product, building reusable tools and connectors from real customer needs.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, customer interaction, and a path to shaping agentic AI across strategic accounts while working with Terraform, Pulumi, ArgoCD, and CI/CD

Qualificações

• 8+ years of production software experience across team boundaries.
• Hands-on experience shipping LLM/agent systems to production.
• Strong customer-facing communication and ability to present tech to leadership.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to deliver working software autonomously.

Responsabilidades

• Embed and drive SRE Agent adoption with 2–4 strategic customer teams onsite.
• Build reusable agent tools, connectors, and skills across repos.
• Run pilots, gather eval data, and fix blockers in production.
• Integrate SRE Agent with IaC, GitOps, CI/CD and observability stacks.
• Define 3–6 month technical roadmaps and relay customer feedback to the core team.
