Job summary

SailPoint is seeking Senior Forward Deployed Engineers to combine AI tooling with practical implementation expertise for strategic accounts in the US. You will participate in sales deals, lead foundational implementations, and grow into technical leadership within the SailPoint sales organization.

Initial training covers product and sales aspects; within a year you may mentor others and present at events. Expect travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in enterprise software, SI or consulting with 3+ years in implementation/pre-sales.
• Strong client-facing communications and ability to map requirements to solutions.
• Knowledge of web services, app servers, databases, virtualization, directories.
• Familiarity with modern SaaS architectures and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Participate in sales processes with direct and channel sales teams.
• Translate customer requirements to SailPoint solutions using AI tooling.
• Lead onsite and remote foundational implementations.
• Educate customers on architecture, design and best practices.
• Collaborate across sales, solution engineering, product and services to ensure customer success.
• Develop technical depth and act as a trusted advisor to customers and partners.
