Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with senior leadership.
• Deep expertise in AI/ML systems and production-scale workflows.
• Proven track record mentoring engineers and influencing broad technical direction.
• Strong background in scalable, multi-tenant distributed systems.
• Experience designing human-in-the-loop controls and safety practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, globally distributed organization with excellent written communication.

Responsibilities

• Set and refine the go-forward technical direction for CI, CD, Plan, and source code experiences.
• Work with the VP of Engineering on planning, technical investment, and roadmap alignment.
• Translate company goals into concrete architectural roadmaps for Core DevOps.
• Define measurable success metrics (availability, latency, test reliability, data quality).
• Lead hard design decisions, write code and proofs of concept when needed.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Security, and SRE to ensure observability and resilience across deployments.
