Job summary

GitLab is building a globally distributed, remote-first Talent Acquisition team. We are seeking a technically minded Technical Recruiter to partner with leaders across Engineering, Product, Security, and UX.

You will own searches from intake through close, build inclusive pipelines, and leverage data to guide hiring decisions. You will develop sourcing plans, run structured interviews, and provide candidate care with transparent communication.

Qualifications

• Intermediate-level recruiting experience with ownership of full-cycle searches.
• Technical recruiting interest or experience across engineering/product disciplines.
• Developing advisory skills and stakeholder trust.
• Experience building proactive, diverse sourcing pipelines.
• A data-informed approach to funnel insights and actions.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle searches for technical roles and deliver against goals with documented processes.
• Lead intake conversations to align role scope, requirements, and interview plans with senior guidance.
• Coordinate structured interviews with clear feedback and risk assessment.
• Shape search strategy using market research, benchmarks, and candidate feedback.
• Assess candidates on technical depth, impact, and alignment with GitLab’s teams.
• Build diverse sourcing plans balancing active and passive talent pools.
• Ensure a thoughtful candidate experience with timely communication and offers.
