Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Director of Product Management: Agentic Software Delivery, remotely based in the United States. You will own a strategic program spanning CI, artifact management, continuous deployment, and observability, guiding senior PMs and shaping AI-driven product decisions.

You will align investment, partnerships, and go-to-market with Engineering, Sales, and GTM teams while driving adoption and revenue.

Qualifications

Experience leading product managers, including developing senior and principal talent, hiring, and addressing performance directly.
A track record owning a portfolio across multiple product areas and being accountable for adoption, retention, and revenue, not only roadmap delivery.
Product management depth in CI/CD pipelines, artifact or package management, release management, or observability.
Sound judgment about where to invest and where to stop, including build/buy/partner decisions with a business case.
Technical fluency to work with engineers and architects on pipeline design and observability signals (logs, metrics, traces).
Experience shaping pricing and packaging for technical products across free, commercial, and enterprise offerings.
Experience working with technical customers in developer tools, DevOps, or software delivery environments where engineers are primary users.
Executive-level communication and influence.
Practical use of AI tools in product management workflows and AI-native workflows understanding.

Responsibilities

Own the strategy, three-year vision, and business outcomes for GitLab's Agentic Software Delivery with AI-driven product leadership.
Lead and develop senior and principal product managers across CI, artifact management, CD, and Observability.
Establish frameworks and operating rhythms for high-quality product decisions with minimal escalation.
Own section KPIs and adoption funnels; reallocate investment where needed.
Evaluate major strategic bets and build, buy, or partner decisions with solid business cases.
Partner with Engineering leadership on platform investment and architectural direction.
Drive pricing, packaging, GTM, migration, and adoption across offerings with cross-functional teams.
Represent the section with senior leadership and key customers, modeling AI-native PM approaches.
