Job summary

Hyve Solutions in Fremont, CA seeks a Server Design Validation Engineer Level IV to lead the validation of AI compute server hardware and firmware. You will act as a senior contributor with technical leadership for the US Design Validation team, ensuring stable, fast, and reliable servers and driving issue disposition across CPU, memory, GPU, and power systems.

You will write automated Python scripts, work with thermal and mechanical teams, and bring up new server platforms in the lab.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
10+ years of server validation or hardware testing experience.
Strong knowledge of x86 server architecture and chipsets; hands-on with test tools.
Experience with BIOS, UEFI and server management software.
Proficiency in Python or C++ for test automation.
Root-cause analysis for hardware failures.
Knowledge of PCIe, DDR memory and Ethernet networking.

Responsibilities

Lead testing for next-generation AI compute server hardware.
Write automated tests and scripts to speed validation.
Collaborate with design and component partners to resolve issues.
Support system integration testing and automation across board, server, and rack levels.
