Job summary

AMD in Secaucus, New Jersey seeks a technical leader to steer validation for next-generation AI and data center platforms. You will define strategies, drive execution across hardware, firmware, software, and infrastructure, and collaborate with architecture, silicon design, and deployment teams to ensure quality and deployment readiness at scale.

The role demands deep technical expertise, strong debugging and analytical skills, and the ability to mentor engineers while influencing engineering

Qualifications

• 8+ years in system-level validation or large-scale infrastructure validation.
• Proven ability to lead investigations and resolve complex issues across hardware, firmware, software, and networking.
• Experience validating scale-up and scale-out server platforms and data center environments.
• Strong Python and Linux proficiency; comfortable with telemetry-driven analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-, rack-, and cluster-scale validation strategies for AI/server platforms.
• Define validation plans covering deployment scenarios and scale-out architectures.
• Develop validation methodologies spanning CPU, GPU, BIOS, firmware, OS, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with architecture, hardware, firmware, software, and platform teams to close coverage gaps.
• Lead investigations and root-cause analyses of complex platform issues.
• Drive automation, telemetry, and data-driven validation across programs.
• Mentor engineers and raise validation excellence across the org.
• Communicate readiness, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
