Job summary

HYVE Solutions in Bend, Oregon seeks a Staff-level System Thermal Engineer to lead hands-on thermal design and validation for next‑generation AI and compute servers. You will work with the principal thermal lead and cross-functional hardware teams to ensure performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on server thermal design experience.
• Experience with liquid cooling and hyperscale deployments preferred.
• Solid knowledge of airflow, heatsinks, cold plates, and CFD modeling.
• Ability to translate thermal data into design changes and communicate across teams.

Responsibilities

• System thermal design: airflow paths, heatsinks, cold plates, and fan/ducting solutions for high-power components.
• Thermal modeling and analysis: CFD simulations to guide placement and cooling margin evaluation.
• Lab validation: temperature, flow, sensors; correlate results with simulation.
• Bring-up and debug during EVT/DVT/PVT; drive corrective actions through ramp.
• Cross-functional execution with mechanical, hardware, power, and manufacturing teams.
