Job summary

Kforce Inc is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst in Princeton, NJ to bridge business needs with technical solutions across insurance, AI, and automation initiatives. You will partner with stakeholders to define objectives, gather requirements, and translate complex processes into actionable user stories and specifications.

You will collaborate with development teams, review AI outputs, document integrations, and support testing, deployment, and change management throughout the delivery

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience within the Property & Casualty insurance industry.
• Experience with CRM, workflow, or business process management platforms.
• Strong business analysis experience, including requirements gathering, process mapping, user stories, and functional documentation.
• Exposure to Generative AI, AI agents, intelligent automation, or similar emerging technologies.
• Knowledge of P&C underwriting processes, rules engines, and policy lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
• Understanding of REST APIs, web services, integrations, JSON, and API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Understanding of large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering concepts, and AI use-case development.
• Familiarity with responsible AI practices, data privacy, and governance principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret basic code and data structures; Familiarity with Python, Java, or JavaScript is beneficial
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define objectives, requirements, and process improvement opportunities
• Translate complex business processes into clear user stories, functional requirements, workflows, and technical specifications
• Collaborate with development teams, solution providers, and integration partners to align business and technical requirements
• Support the design, testing, validation, and deployment of AI-powered and automation solutions
• Define AI use cases, business rules, workflows, and measures of solution effectiveness
• Review AI outputs and recommend improvements to prompts, workflows, and decision logic
• Document API requirements, integrations, data flows, authentication methods, and system dependencies
• Review JSON payloads and data structures to support application and system integrations
• Assist with integration troubleshooting, system testing, defect management, and user acceptance testing
• Partner with project managers, developers, and subject matter experts throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, release planning, and production deployment activities
• Maintain project, requirements, and change management documentation
