Job summary

PCS Wireless in Florham Park, NJ is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to own requirements for the Applications Development portfolio. You will embed with operations, finance, sales, and other teams, turning insights into build-ready specifications for full-stack developers and AI agents.

You will lead discovery sessions, write user stories and acceptance criteria, and model processes with BPMN, ensuring secure, high-performance solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, business analytics, industrial engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience defining requirements and delivering application development projects, incl. 5+ years as lead analyst on complex programs.
• Greenfield requirements experience beyond configuring packaged software.
• Excellent written and spoken English, ability to lead workshops and present to senior stakeholders globally.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to write requirements, user stories, and process flows; ability to share examples.
• Experience with AI prototyping tools (Claude Design or similar).
• Understand spec-driven development and how to write AI-ready specs.
• Process modeling with BPMN or similar; tools Lucidchart, Visio, or Miro.
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in Agile using Jira/Confluence.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, and SQL; can read API docs and trace data flows.
• Experience defining non-functional requirements including security, performance, and data privacy.
• Mentoring or guiding other analysts.
• Designing apps integrating with ERP systems including NetSuite.
• Familiar with enterprise integration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own the requirements for all applications in the Application Development portfolio from discovery through release and adoption.
• Run discovery sessions, workshops, and interviews to map current processes and define future-state solutions.
• Write clear, build-ready requirements including user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, data models, and mappings.
• Use AI tools to synthesize notes, draft requirements, generate acceptance criteria, and create process flows.
• Build quick prototypes with AI tools to validate ideas with stakeholders before development.
• Write implementation-ready specifications for AI-enabled development and integration with ERP/NetSuite.
• Model current and future processes using BPMN and capture non-functional requirements (security, performance, auditability).
• Define integration requirements between apps, NetSuite, and external systems; collaborate on APIs and data flows.
• Facilitate decisions, resolve conflicting requirements, and secure sign-offs.
• Partner with developers, designers, and QA through backlog refinement and sprint planning.
