Job summary

Predii is seeking a Senior AI Engineer/Architect to own agentic AI products end-to-end, shaping the platform they run on. You will work on dealership operations—diagnostics, service-advisor recommendations, and pricing/inventory intelligence—within a shared architecture designed for multiple products.

You will build evaluation frameworks, optimize inference for scale, and define safety guardrails for high-stakes outputs, while integrating with diverse DMS/ERP systems across the US.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and shipping production ML/AI systems with real users.
• Hands-on experience building agentic or LLM-powered applications end-to-end.
• Track record architecting shared platforms/services that support multiple product use cases.
• Practical experience with evaluation frameworks for AI systems.
• Experience optimizing inference for throughput/latency/cost on open-weight models.
• Comfort designing safety guardrails and escalation logic for high-stakes recommendations.
• Experience integrating with heterogeneous third-party systems (APIs, DMS, ERPs).
• A self-starter mindset with ability to work independently across a US–India team.

Responsibilities

• Own Agentic Products End-to-End — from concept to production for diagnostics, recommendations, and pricing/inventory intelligence.
• Build the AI Layer on Shop/Dealer Systems — reason over repair orders and real-time DMS data.
• Design a Shared Platform — one architecture for multiple agentic products.
• Build Evaluation Frameworks — metrics for diagnostic accuracy and relevance.
• Architect Inference for Scale — optimize throughput, latency, and cost.
• Define Safety & Escalation — guardrails for high-stakes outputs.
• Work the Real Integration Surface — integrate with varied DMS/ERPs.
