Job summary

Verisk Analytics, Inc. is seeking a hands-on technical leader to define architecture for production agentic AI solutions across our software portfolio. You will build critical components, guide engineering teams and establish reusable capabilities for AI-powered products and development workflows.

Lead through implementation with production-grade code, review designs, and coach teams. Shape AI workflows, evaluation, security, and governance to ensure reliable, value-driven delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering with 4+ years leading AI/agentic architecture or technical delivery across multiple teams.
• Deployment and operation of multiple LLM/agentic apps in production; strong Python, APIs, distributed systems, RAG, and agent orchestration skills.
• Experience with cloud deployment, containers, CI/CD, evaluation and observability; able to explain trade-offs to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define portfolio architecture with reference architectures, reusable agent services, and engineering standards.
• Write production code, review designs and pull requests, mentor teams through delivery and adoption.
• Design dependable workflows with tool calling, orchestration, context/memory, retries, and approvals.
