Job summary

Dialpad is seeking a core technical leader to shape the vision, architecture, and execution of its next-generation AI platform. You will build production-grade, autonomous AI agents and real-time orchestration across enterprise workflows, collaborating closely with Product, Research, Design, and executives.

The role reports to Senior Director of Engineering and is based in our San Francisco area office. A strong background in distributed systems and AI-native SDLC is essential.

Qualifications

Experience: 10+ years of software engineering and technical leadership shipping large-scale systems.

Responsibilities

Own architectural roadmap and delivery of Dialpad’s Agentic infrastructure and orchestration layers.
Design and deploy scalable AI agents for autonomous support and real-time voice reasoning.
Mentor engineers and set technical standards for AI-native SDLC.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Applied Research to align execution with strategy.
Research and implement agent frameworks, LLM optimization, retrieval systems and safety guardrails.
