Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff to design, build, and ship autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents integrated with our platform. You will work at the intersection of LLM orchestration, tool-use frameworks, and production engineering—turning agentic prototypes into reliable, scalable systems.

As a recognized SME and hybrid engineer, you will own complex functionality end-to-end, guide team execution, and mentor engineers while collaborating with cross-functional partners

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, including hands-on experience building and deploying LLMs/agentic systems in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents integrated with our platform.
• Evaluate and select agent frameworks and optimize deployments for latency, cost, and reliability.
• Deliver high-quality features across the lifecycle and assist in planning and task definition.
• Build guardrails to prevent hallucinations and monitor features in production.
• Act as SME and coach for engineers via pair programming and reviews.
