Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff to design, build, and ship autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents integrated with our platform. You will lead end-to-end development, from design to delivery, focusing on LLM orchestration, tool-use frameworks, and production-grade reliability.

As a recognized SME, you will guide engineers, own complex functionality, and ensure high standards in architecture, testing, and collaboration with PMs, Scrum Masters, and Tech Writers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, including hands-on work with LLMs/agentic systems in production.
• Strong Python skills and experience with agent orchestration frameworks or building custom ones.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, tool-calling patterns, and evaluation of non-deterministic systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship autonomous and semi-autonomous AI agents integrated with the platform.
• Evaluate agent frameworks and optimize deployments for latency, cost, and reliability.
• Lead delivery of complex features end-to-end and mentor engineers.
