Job summary

Salesforce.com, inc. is seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff to design, build, and ship autonomous AI agents integrated with our platform. You will work at the intersection of LLM orchestration, tool-use frameworks, and production engineering to turn agent prototypes into reliable, scalable systems.

As a recognized SME and hybrid engineer, you will own complex functionality end-to-end, mentor engineers, and collaborate with PMs, Scrum Masters, and Tech Writers on documentation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, including hands-on work with LLMs/agentic systems in production.
• Strong Python skills and experience with agent orchestration frameworks or building frameworks from scratch.
• Deep understanding of prompt engineering, tool-calling patterns, and evaluation strategies for non-deterministic systems.
• Systems and architecture expertise: API integrations, async systems, distributed architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship autonomous AI agents integrated with our platform.
• Evaluate agent frameworks and orchestration patterns for latency, cost, and reliability.
• Deliver high-quality features end-to-end: design, execution, testing, and review.
• Implement guardrails, monitoring, and incident handling in production.
• Mentor AMTS/MTS engineers and present work to leadership.
