Job summary

RevenueCat is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build agentic features that operate across thousands of developers and integrate with RevenueCat's APIs. You will shape the core engine—orchestration, tool execution, context management, evaluation, and human-in-the-loop controls—while shipping reliable, customer-focused capabilities.

This remote-first role offers autonomy and a fast-growing, Series C startup environment with equity, flexible time off, and a desk budget.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience shipping production systems.
• Built agents that are actually used with tool use and context management.
• Strong backend fundamentals ensuring reliability, observability, and security.
• High quality, well-tested code with careful attention to details.
• Customer-obsessed mindset, thinking like the developer, product manager, or marketer.
• Able to scope, prioritize, and drive rollout with the product team.
• Able to quickly read unfamiliar code and improve it.
• Bias toward shipping and iteration over perfection.

Responsibilities

• Meet with team and manager to get up to speed in the first month.
• Ship your first project: a small feature that demonstrates agent communication with RevenueCat APIs.
• Within 3–6 months, deliver a medium-sized project and understand main product areas.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and help improve agent infrastructure and trust layers.
• Mentor other engineers and participate in incidents and post-mortems.
