Job summary

RevenueCat is seeking a Backend Engineer to design, build, ship, and own end-to-end product features used by thousands of developers and hundreds of millions of users. This hands-on IC role emphasizes customer-obsessed software, shipping shipped features, and shipping quickly with a strong product sense.

You’ll own from scoping to production rollout, work with AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery, and partner with Product to drive reliable, scalable systems in a fully remote, globally

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience building large scale systems.
• Ability to write advanced SQL beyond basic queries.
• Maintains high-quality, well-structured code and tests.
• Customer obsession in designing features that developers use.
• Proactively scopes, prioritizes, and drives end-to-end delivery with product.
• Able to quickly understand unfamiliar codebases and improve them.
• Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate work while staying detail-oriented.
• Prefers shipping iterative improvements over perfect but delayed releases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in a remote team.
