Job summary

RevenueCat is a remote-first company building the engineering foundation for Rico and Astra to manage subscriptions. You will ship agentic features and own orchestration, tool execution, and context management for thousands of developers.

You have a strong backend background, ship with a high bar for quality, and thrive in a customer-obsessed, autonomous, remote environment. This is a role for experienced engineers who love building at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience shipping production systems.
• Built agents that others actually use and the surrounding systems: tool use, structured output, context management, evaluation, orchestration.
• Strong backend fundamentals: reliable, observable, and secure systems.
• High bar for quality with the ability to cut scope when needed while delivering value.
• Customer-obsessed mindset: imagine the developer, product manager, or marketer using the feature.
• Self-directed, shipping-focused, and able to work in a remote team.

Responsibilities

• Ship agentic features to thousands of developers and shape the foundation others build on.
• Own orchestration, tool execution, context management, and the evaluation/human-in-the-loop controls.
• Collaborate with Product and other teams to prioritize and rollout improvements.
• Review code, participate in design discussions, and mentor newer engineers.
