Job summary

Dobbs Equipment, LLC seeks an experienced Senior Account Manager to sell, rent, and lease John Deere equipment across the territory. Build partnerships, grow market share, and manage customer relationships to drive revenue and gross profit.

Role requires strong communication, problem solving, self‑management, and willingness to travel overnight as needed; valid driver's license required. Bilingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four‑year college or 3+ years related experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to communicate effectively with teammates and customers
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Must be able to self‑manage/self‑motivate.
• PC literate, proficient with MS Office, with an emphasis in Excel and Outlook.
• Overnight travel required.
• Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sell and promote entire product line distributed by Dobbs Equipment.
• Grow and develop customer relationships to increase market share.
• Prospecting and cold calling to expand customer base.
• Quote and negotiate prices and contracts; record and close orders.
• Provide on‑site product demonstrations and technical support.
• Maintain a contact management database and call logs for territory.
• Provide market awareness updates and lost sales reports.
• Report progress to sales manager on goals and objectives.
• Manage and maximize rental conversions and targets.
• Attend training and sales meetings to stay current with equipment.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four‑year college or 3+ years related experience
