Job summary

CGS Federal seeks an experienced Agile Coach to guide and support executives, managers, and Scrum Masters across large-scale initiatives for a federal agency. The role focuses on cultivating an Agile culture, facilitating training, and ensuring successful delivery through SAFe practices and DevSecOps alignment.

The successful candidate will mentor teams, help define backlogs, and drive continuous improvement across multiple programs, reporting to the Project Management department.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of practical Agile experience.
• Strong understanding of SAFe including Scrum, Kanban, and Product Ownership.
• Hands-on organizational change agent across multiple teams.
• Experience launching Agile Release Trains and DevOps culture.
• Experience coordinating PI Planning events and multiple ARTs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Agile transformation for multiple teams at both team and program level.
• Facilitate team workshops on Agile, Lean, Scrum, and Kanban principles.
• Lead Agile training for government stakeholders and contractors.
• Provide ongoing Agile coaching to Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and teams.
• Coordinate cross-team planning and grooming sessions and update artifacts.
