Job summary

CGS Federal seeks an experienced Agile Coach to lead agile transformations across large government IT programs in a fast-paced environment. You will mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and teams, enabling effective delivery through SAFe practices, DevSecOps alignment, and executive coaching.

You will facilitate workshops, drive agile training for stakeholders, and help implement governance, metrics, and backlog management across multiple trains and teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of practical Agile experience.
• Strong understanding of SAFe including Scrum, Kanban, Product Ownership, and Agile Scaling.
• Experience as a hands‑on organizational change agent across multiple teams.
• Experience with launching Agile Release Trains and DevSecOps culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Agile transformation for multiple teams and programs.
• Facilitate team workshops on Agile/Lean, Scrum, and Kanban principles.
• Lead Agile training for government stakeholders and contractors.
• Provide ongoing Agile coaching for new teams across iterations.
• Mentor Scrum Masters and Product Owners.
• Help teams set up boards, workflows, and automated reporting.
• Advance the Agile Transformation Roadmap and maturity assessments.
