Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking an experienced Agile Coach to lead transformation across multiple teams within a federal program in Arlington, VA. You will mentor executives, managers, product owners, and Scrum Masters, fostering an enterprise-wide Agile culture and DevSecOps practices to improve delivery of complex IT initiatives.

You will design training, facilitate cross-team planning, coach teams on SAFe Scrum and Kanban, and help define backlogs, metrics, and governance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of practical Agile experience.
• Strong understanding of SAFe including Scrum, Kanban, Product Ownership, and Agile Scaling.
• Hands-on organizational change agent across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Agile transformation for multiple teams and programs.
• Facilitate team workshops to teach Agile and Lean principles, Scrum, and Kanban.
• Lead Agile training for government stakeholders and contractors on processes, tools, and policies.
• Assist teams with sprint planning and ongoing Agile coaching across iterations.
• Provide hands-on mentoring to Scrum Masters and Product Owners.
• Help teams set up boards, workflows, and automated reporting; prioritize and decompose backlog.
