Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Affordable Housing Senior Community Manager to oversee operations of a housing community in Sugar Land, TX. You will lead on-site staff, manage leasing, maintenance, budgeting, and risk controls while ensuring resident satisfaction and adherence to Fair Housing laws.

The role emphasizes tax credit/affordable housing experience, budgeting duties, and development of marketing plans to optimize occupancy and NOI. Strong leadership and on-site software skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of a housing community under the Regional Manager.
• Manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, financials, administration & risk management.
• Supervise on-site staff and ensure compliance with policies and safety regulations.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and marketing plans.
• Monitor rent collections, deposits, and vendor invoices for timely processing.
• Lead emergency response for the property and ensure resident satisfaction.
