Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in Colorado Springs to join the Systems Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) team. You will execute systems engineering activities across project lifecycles, collaborate with engineering, program management, and operations, and enhance MBSE practices and tools.

The role requires strong communication, ability to work cross-functionally, and US citizenship. Onsite in US-CO with opportunities to influence system-level decisions and vendor interactions.

Qualifications

Experience as a technical systems engineer.

Responsibilities

Utilize robust Systems Engineering practices in support of projects.
Support the development and flow down of system requirements, ensuring that specifications sent to vendors conform to the system specifications.
Perform requirements decomposition from system level requirements to subsystem level.
Perform requirements traceability at multiple levels of the system specification tree.
Conduct model-based systems engineering (MBSE) analyses using Enterprise Architect.
