RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer to develop requirements, MBSE models, and system interfaces in a hands-on, cross-functional role at a customer site in Cambridge, MA. The position emphasizes detailed SysML modeling, interface with electrical and software teams, and active participation in design reviews.

The role requires a STEM bachelor’s with 8+ years of engineering experience and hands-on work with DOORs, MBSE, and Cameo/MagicDraw.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM and 8+ years engineering experience.
• Experience with systems requirements, systems software, and systems hardware.
• Familiarity with DOORs, MBSE, and Cameo/MagicDraw.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements and algorithms, concepts of operations, system trades, and system interfaces.
• Develop and maintain detailed SysML descriptive system models, linking and synchronization of requirements, and generate design documentation/views.
• Interface with cross functional teams to guide subsystem development and ensure requirement compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
• Frequent interface with Customer and other program stakeholders and collaborators.
• Conduct and/or support technical peer reviews and provide feedback; document and guide team members.
• Communicate technical topics and issues clearly to both technical peers and non-technical team members.
