Job summary

RTX is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer in Tucson, AZ, on-site to drive requirements rigor, system integration, and test activities. You will mentor engineers, coordinate across multiple disciplines, and ensure verification of design against requirements throughout the lifecycle.

Responsibilities include architecture development, MBSE modeling, trade studies, and documenting test plans. Occasional travel supports mission execution with RTX and customers.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in systems engineering, integration, or testing.
• Experience coordinating across teams and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements management and oversee system integration and test activities.
• Develop and review system architecture using Model Based Systems Engineering.
• Coordinate across disciplines to ensure design, verification, and qualification success.
• Create and maintain documentation for design reviews and test events.
• Travel to support mission execution at various sites as needed.
