RTX’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) in Tucson, AZ is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer for the Effectors team. The role focuses on requirements management, SE oversight during integration and test, and collaboration across disciplines to ensure first-time-right delivery for warfighters.

Ideal candidates will have a STEM degree with 5+ years in systems engineering, CONOPS, and system verification. Relocation and onsite work in Tucson are supported as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM with 5+ years engineering experience.
• Experience in developing system requirements and verification strategies.
• Experience with requirements management and qualification testing.
• Knowledge of systems engineering concepts for CONOPS and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain requirements and documentation for development and production.
• Support design and system verification testing activities.
• Provide SE guidance during integration and test efforts.
• Assist in system performance analysis and cross-team coordination.
• Mentor SMEs and participate in trade studies for customers.
