Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks a Sr Advanced Project Engineer to lead complex engineering programs, driving innovation and timely delivery of advanced aerospace solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams, manage schedules and resources, and report to the Sr Systems Engineering Manager.

Hybrid schedule in Tempe or Tucson, AZ, with first 90 days on-site. You will develop SOWs, lead IPDS processes, and interface with customers and vendors to ensure program success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical discipline.
• 5+ years of customer technical requirements management using formal tracking systems (DOORS, PTS, Clearcase).
• 5+ years developing CPCS / ECS aerospace systems.
• Subject matter expert in aircraft integration and certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engineering projects from planning to delivery.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on schedules, budgets, resources, and risks.
• Develop SOWs for engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Prepare status reports and executive presentations for reviews.
• Coordinate phase gates and compliance artifacts for IPDS AP-1235 processes.
• Support cost estimation and project forecasting for pursuits.
• Manage IMS with tracking of SPI, CPI, and EV metrics.
• Deliver technical presentations to leadership and customers.
• Lead design reviews and ensure requirement updates and validation.
