Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix is seeking an Advanced Project Engineer to lead aerospace and defense programs within Engines & Power Systems. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and drive program execution with emphasis on schedules, costs, and specifications.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a technical field, 5+ years in aerospace engineering, and the ability to work in a regulated environment. Hybrid schedule onsite in Phoenix; relocation support available; US citizenship required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline required.
• 5+ years in mechanical systems engineering, project engineering, or product development in aerospace/defense.
• Proven experience leading engineering projects with schedules and budgets.
• Experience with military aviation, aircraft systems, propulsion, APUs, or gas turbine engines.
• Knowledge of development processes, requirements management, verification/validation, and configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects through full product lifecycle from development to sustainment.
• Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, technical plans, milestones, and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary engineering focal point for assigned projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with technical requirements, customer specs, and contractual obligations.
• Interface with government customers to support program execution and maintain relationships.
