Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks a Project Engineer II to lead and coordinate engineering projects at our Phoenix, AZ site on a Hybrid schedule. You’ll drive schedules, budgets and cross-functional collaboration to deliver on time and within quality standards.

The first 90 days are onsite, with ramp-up to hybride afterward, reporting to the Engineering Manager. You’ll apply analytical skills, risk management, and a passion for innovation to guide teams, manage resources, and ensure project objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• 0-3 years of experience in project engineering or related roles within aerospace or similar technical industries or an advanced engineering degree
• Basic understanding of project management principles, risk management, and problem-solving techniques
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
• Passion for innovation and continuous learning

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies
